This presentation will introduce a method to design and optimise electric powertrains for low noise and vibration by simulating the system vibration response to excitations from the electrical machine. The workflow is achieved by linking Altair Flux and OptiStruct with RomaxDESIGNER, the industry standard tool for mechanical design of electric powertrains.
