October saw Romax Technology and the Chinese Wind Energy Association (CWEA) launch their first Romax China User Conference and 12th Advanced Drivetrain Seminar: Improve Design Process-‘Right First Time’ in Beijing, China, where it attracted more than 150 representatives from 60 global companies.
The event took on a slightly different remit from previous years, with the addition of it’s first China Forum/User conference. Invited partners gave guest presentations from; Chang’an Automobile Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Tsingshan Industrial, ZWZ, Shenyang Blower Works Group Corporation Wind Company and Taiyuan Heavy Industry. In addition the speakers shared their experiences on Romax software and services in gearbox design as well as their achievements by adopting Romax’ “Right First Time” process improvement approach.
During the conference, the participants actively networked with technical experts from Romax from the UK and China and were able to gain further knowledge and solutions to questions addressing their technological issues.
After the Q&A session, the participants had a deeper understanding of Romax software and services.
Romax has collaborated with the Chinese Wind Energy Association for six years running and has launched more than ten technology lectures and seminars. The relationship marks a lasting friendship and established working relationship between the organisations who have jointly promoted China’s development of wind energy technology.
Looking to the future, Romax hopes to continue to apply its latest technological products and services to the Chinese market, in addition to supporting the sustainable development of local Chinese wind power enterprises, specifically focussing on the software development of transmission system design platform and in optimizing the design process.
